This thing in Libya..

Hi everyone,

Today I shall be writing about what's going on in Libya ( or at least a kids view on it ). Here's a breif explanation of what's happened so far.

In Tunisia, citizens got fed up with their president having ruled for so long and they wanted him out. The problem was he didn't want to go. There was only 1 answer, rebel! I think it worked in Tunisia ( but I don't watch the news ) and that inspired Egypt to rebel against thier 30 year long leader. They succeeded too, which then inspired more North African countries to follow their footsteps to get their long time leader out.

xJawz's Big Giveaway! OMG

Hi everyone,

I've just watched a video (from xJawz - a Machinima YouTube Commentator) and he is giving away nearly $3000 worth of gaming related stuff. I think it's cool how he's doing a giveaway, but he's only 16, and he's just given everyone $2700 of stuff!! He said it was because he got his pay from Machinima, but it must've been loads for him to splash that much cash.

I'm making a Call of Duty Funtage!

Over the past week or so I have been working on a Black Ops Funtage named '2 Noobs 1 Funtage'. I have been making it with my mate Ashley, and I think it's gonna be pretty good. Turtle Beach XLC Review

The TB XLC. A lot of bad things have been said about this headset, and because now I am getting a new headset, I just want to clear things up. This headset is NOT as bad as everyone says it is. I've had it for a year and it hasn't broke yet. Yes, it may be more breakable than the other TBs, but if you don't rage and slam it against the wall, you've got a good chance of keeping it in tact.

Intro Part 3 (Final Part)

Hey, this is the second official day of the 'we play xbox blog'. That name makes it sound like a company or a community or something, but it's not. Its just me, a small 13 year old male from Britain. In this post I sort of wanted to talk about my life in school, and how (I think) it relates and differs from American School.

*The most knowledge that I have of American Schools are from films, so please don't hate if I make a mistake.*

I reckon that in the UK, kids are more influenced by peer pressure. Sure, in America you have the school bully, but what I mean is that there is a lot of people not influenced by peer pressure hardly at all. In the UK almost everyone is affected and changed due to this 'infection'.

Yeah thats really all I got. Source: Glee. Yeah I know, it's cheesy but hey. Anyway I'm in the middle of a solo ascension zombies game on CoD at round 22 but I think I have to switch it off now. :( It took me about 1 hour to get to round 22, but its half my best!

Straight from my iPod!

Hi to anyone that is reading, this is just a quick bulletin to tell you that I will most likely be blogging from my iPod either in the evenings ( about 10 o clock British time ) or in the mornings at around 7 30 British time.

That doesn't mean I won't be posting from my laptop, it's bigger and faster, so I prefer it for interaction. I usually go on it at about 6 00 again, British time.

Hey! It's Alex back again here for my second blog post. I wanted to do this because there is more I need to explain to you from my introduction. I mentioned about money, and in case you didn't know, the way I would make money off a blog is by you clicking on the ads. Don't worry I'm not going to advertise these ads, just when you click on them I get a small amount of monieeesss £££$$$$. No but seriously it's not a lot, a good blog could fetch up to £90 a month, which would be awesome for someone like me, but I doubt I'll ever make it there.

For me at the moment I've just picked my options for my GCSEs, if your American GCSE grades are what employers see when your looking for a job, the better the grade, the higher the chance of getting a job, so it's serious stuff. When I'm older (lol) I really wanna work in the Media. Maybe for a company and work in advertising, or maybe as a film director. All I know is that I want to work somewhere in the world of media, so for my first option I took Media Studies. It's quite a big GCSE, worth up to 4 GCSEs (most are only worth one).

For my next choice I chose History, mainly because before I was given the option sheet it was sort of the best known thing to do either History or Geography, and I clearly liked History more so I decided I wanted to do that.

For my last choice (sorry if I'm boring you here) I chose ICT, because i'ts so important because a lot of jobs involve a computer.

Anyway those are what I chose if you interested.If your not, then sorry for wasting your time. CoD talk now - no not the fish - the game. Ever since about mid January, I've been bored of Black Ops online but I did enjoy Zombies mode. Then I got bored of that and went back to MW2 for a few days, then CoD 4, and now back to Black Ops. I still enjoy Zombies, and would consider myself a pro at it, if I do say so myself. My highest round on Kino is 37 on solo, and for the new map Ascension, I got to 43 on solo, but then I had to come off. :( If anyone would like to play Zombies with me on any map, send me an e-mail by looking on my profile.

Introduction to my Blog

Hi all, this is my first ever blog post in the history of the world so I guess I'm a bit of a noob at this, but none the less, on we go. I'm not exactly sure what I wanna say for my first post, I mean am I supposed to tell you all the memorable and funny things in my life, or do I just wanna write articles, how to guides and news? The path is unclear, but its just gonna go the way it does. 

I guess I should start by telling you about what i might be writing for this blog : probably many things about Call of Duty, and other video games I like, and maybe what it's like to be a teen here in England for all you Americans out there (I know there's a lot of you here on the Internet!). As I said, the path is unclear, and I'll probably just write what's on  my mind at the time. 

Also, I'd just like to tell you I am aiming to maybe do at least 1 post a day here on the 'We Play Xbox Blog'. I don't know why I decided to call it that, it immediately puts everyone from PS3 off this blog, which I'm not intending to do. I don't personally see why there is so much fuss over what is better, Xbox or PlayStation. I don't hate PS3 players, the only reason why I have an Xbox as opposed to a PlayStation is because of Halo, I played the first two and was dying to finish the trilogy.

 Anyway, I'm not sure if this is too much for one blog, as I said I'm a noob at all this stuff. I'm gonna be honest, the reason that got me into doing this was for money, after I looked into it I realised this seems like the thing for me. I'm serious, I really want to pursue this. Anyway, I feel like finishing up here now, but there is still lots more to cover for the introduction for this blog. If you want to read my posts, bookmark this page! Goodbye All!
